OK Dad

This is what OK dad is looking at buying! Its so COOL! Mom always wanted a convertible and he is going to buy one. I think that, that's the sweetest thing ever!  In the background is my nephew Erick he just bought a car like this one but its not a convertible.  Erick took Cora for a ride in it.  Cora was so excited! LOL!

Found out that Blaike and Katie are having... Blaike Edward Witten, A BOY!!!  How exciting!!! : )

Prom

Cora is going to prom this year with her boyfriend  TJ and we have a dress already that a friend is letting us borrow but we started looking at dresses anyway and found this one...  OMG!  It looks like something that OK mom would love!  To begin with this isn't something that Cora and I would usually like but once Cora tried it on it was LOVE!  Problem... dress is $538!  HOLY COW!  Can't say that I am willing to pay that much for a dress but its beautiful! So we are going to continue to look for a dress, I know we have the dress my friend is letting us borrow but its always fun to look. : )

Feeling better today!  Colby ran me to target and bought me some medicine to help me to sleep. So got some sleep and I haven't coughed yet today.  : )

Happenings in the family...

-Colby got his first pay check and seems to be on the right track. Thank God!  Dearly love Colby but the boy stresses me out. LOL!
-Tori's birthday was yesterday she is the big 25!
-Levi's birthday is Thursday
-Noah's birthday is Friday

Baseball season

Went to Levis baseball meeting, everything went really good. Everyone seemed very nice. So we have Levi and Noah playing baseball and Cora changed her mind about softball. She decided not to play. I think it had something to do with the coach being a unpleasant person when we went to the meeting and the team mates didn't seem to friendly either. It seems to me kids have gotten meaner since I was in school. Its ridiculous some of the stories I hear. Oh well...

Tonight Shannon is out of town so I will have to run to Noahs program which Levi has to go to anyway. Then maybe baseball practice for Levi if it doesn't rain, but I'm pretty sure its going to rain. Maybe just maybe I'll get to scrap. = D

This scriputure was in my in box today, and I know sometimes I bring things upon myself cause I make silly comments, but when it comes to Shannon, the kids,and family I'm pretty protective. Anyway I made a comment somewhere and in return somebody else made a not so nice comment back. It was everything I had not to say "Somebody's trash (if you want to say) is somebody else treasure." I thank God for me listening to him and not opening my mouth and saying those words back. This person that made the comment is a pretty good friend of mine and doesn't read this blog. Its just funny how God took me from where I was over 8 years ago and made me who I am today. 8 years ago I would of been running my mouth to this "friend". LOL! God is good!

Friday is suppose to be a good day. (I thought)

Last night was alittle rough at the house so I tried to work alittle on the baby book but realized I didn't have all the headers so made a run to moms to use her printer, I don't have a printer at home because the kids will use it for everything. Anyway came back and the font in the baby book and the papers I printed aren't the same size. LOL! So I decided hey what a cute truck stamp and this is what it turned into.

There is some glitter on the tree. I think it turned out pretty cute. = )

As I sit here at work bloggin' I'm getting text messages from the kids. (They will remain nameless) They are arguing about something so silly. I honestly feel like a divided family. You have the Witten's (except Tarrance) VS the Davis-Ryan's. Its getting out of control. Shannon and I tried to seat the kids down and have a talk the other night but it just didn't seem to work. I'm thinking maybe we should make the kids hold hands like when they were little. Today I can honestly say I'm glad I don't have any brothers or sisters.

The game plan for the weekend... Cora and Levi are going to go take their test for their permits today. = ) Noah is going to his dads house. Colby is starting his job. I think Shawna is coming up today. Tonight Shannon and I are suppose to go out. Tomorrow I'd wanted to take Tarrance and Shawna out in the morning with donuts of course and drive around lookin' for a rental house/apartment but Tarrance has to work until 2. So I'm thinking that $110.00 is burning a hole in my pocket still, maybe I'll go spend it LOL! I hear the scrapbook store out in Andover is having a sale and that wonderful Michael's is on the way out there, I think this maybe a GREAT plan.

Well, yesterday my team ended up winning the Biggest Loser! So I'm $110 dollars richer! Now what to do with the money... I was thinking scrap supplies. (giggle)

I didn't make it to scrap corner in my house last night. One of the family dogs, Patty some how cut her paw. Doesn't she look so sad. Poor thing. Shannon had her sleep in her dog "home" last night, but when Shannon got up at 3am I let her get in bad with me. LOL!

The wheels in my mind are turning about Christmas cards. I think I have some ideas and maybe I'll SKETCH them out.

Good Morning

Well there isn't much new at the Davis-Ryan-Witten house. Cora did get her school moved so now she is in the same school as Levi and Noah. Of course the 3 of them see eachother through out the day and they think its so cool. LOL! Told Tarrance that its time for him to get a cell phone on his own. Does that make me a bad mom? Of course he is the one with a baby on the way so I'm feeling alitte bad about it, but he thinks he should get an iphone touch. What in the world?!?! That thing better make some coffee or something. Thats crazy! Of course I have a blackberry but you never know when you might get important scrapbooking emails. (giggle) He don't need an iphone but I guess, what do I know. = ) Its his money. Tarrance is taking Shawna to the doctor today so hopefully, HOPEFULLY we might find out what the baby is and I can start anyother babybook. I'm telling everybody that its going to be a boy!!! (Sorry Shawna)

I did get my watercolor pencils but I didn't get to use them, Cora started sewing class so I had to help her with some homework. A mothers work is never done, RIGHT LADIES! Well its time to clock into to work and dream about my watercolor pencils. Lol!

29 Weeks until baby (11weeks along)

Life is doing good today. I'm getting lazy on my blogging again. I will have to start trying to post some more stuff. I've stopped bring my scrappin stuff to work cause I was reading a book. = ) So tomorrow I start bringing it with me again.
So lets talk family, Tarrance is doing good I haven't talked to him in awhile. Shawna and baby are doing good. Everyone is getting excited about baby. Shawna is having morning sickness but made cupcakes yesterday. She said they are addicting. Thats when I told her we have to go to the cheesecake factory this weekend when I'm in OK SO THIS MEANS.... VANILLA BEAN CHEESECAKE FOR ME! Moving on... Blaike I haven't heard from in awhile but we have 11 days until he is out of military school. = ) Colby is doing wonderful. He loves his job, really he just loves money. He fixed the truck the other day. He was pretty excited about that. Levi, I don't hear much from him. All I know is he is going on a mission trip to Jamaica sometime. Cora is doing ok we have been disagreeing about her weight so... lol poor child got stuck with me for a mom. I'm going to take her cell phone if she doesn't write down her calorie intake, and use the med the doctor gave her. Sad it comes down to that LOL(Cora if you are reading this, I'm doing the heart thing to you) Noah, Noah, Noah the great thing about Noah is when I need a laugh he is more then happy to help me out. He has got to be the funniest person I know, of course I think I pretty funny too. Baseball is going really good for Noah. I think he is one of the best players, but that could be cause he is my child. Shannon the thing about Shannon he'll talk to anybody and everybody thats all I'm going to say about him. LOL!
A friend of the family is coming over today to see what is needed for the plumbing in the bathroom. I'm so excited about this! I'm getting closer and closer to having more room for my scrapbookin' stuff! I ordered some more Magolina stamps, Hero arts stamps and this is my month for Close to My Heart! = ) Also, Dee I haven't forgotten about you.
One more thing my grandmother had a double bypass last Friday and praise God she is already home! God is so good!

10 Weeks

Well, yesterday got away from me. So, Yesterday was 10 weeks along Baby, so 30 weeks until baby! Shawna said that all she wants to do it sleep. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks the sleepness will go away and she will start feeling better. = )

Cora doesn't have a boyfriend. I'm not sure really what happened, but like I told Cora that she doesn't need a boyfriend. Noah is going to youth with Colby and Cora tonight. Its going to be his first time. = (

Me

So last night I went to the wrestling banquet with parents, Tarrance, Colby, Cora and Noah. It wasn't to bad. I'm very proud of Colby and Tarrance. Both boys got awards, and both lettered. I didn't know Tarrance spelled his name so many different ways. LOL! He gets so bad at that. Terrance, Tarence, etc. (giggle) Decided to put a picture of the two boys and my father, and the picture below it is a picture of my mom and the two boys. Good lookin boys don't you think so?
I did work on the baby book tonight I'm just about done with it. Its turning out pretty cute.

Snow, Snow, Snow

Of course it snowed and the Shannon and the boys went sledding. Cora and I decided to go outside and take a few pictures. Cora couldn't go sledding cause of her cast. = ( Oh well we still had fun.

Lazy

I'm tellin you all now I've been so lazy! I keep buying and buying but not using any of the new scrapbooking stuff I have. Thats really bad. I've bought stuff to start on a baby book for a friend of mine. (I love babies!) So hopefully I'll get on the scrapbook wagon again. I need some encouragement.

Family updates Cora is doing pretty good. I think she goes this friday to get another x ray. I pray that her leg is starting to heal. We went to church and I kicked her in the leg. I think it hurt me more then her. = O

Noah is doing pretty good. Colby took Noah out for awhile yesterday they went and played some baseball. It meant alot to Noah. Noah seems to be trying to find himself. He will be turning 11 next Monday! OMG!!!

Colby got a tattoo Saturday! LOL he said it hurt so bad! I kept telling him it would. It looks pretty darn good!

Tarrance is with his mom in Oklahoma. Not sure when he is coming back.

Blaike called Shannon last night and he seems to be doing pretty good at the military school.

Levi was sick this weekend, but I'm sure he'll make a fast recovery because his birthday is Sunday. = )

Shannon.... O my... Shannon is Shannon what more can I say.
We did make it to church Saturday evening. It was pretty good. I think it will take some getting use to. Hopefully will make some friends there and it will get easier for all of us.

Where?!

Where has the month gone? My gosh...

Well date night didn't go all that great. So I have decided I'd try to surprise Shannon with some dinner and a movie Friday night. (giggle) I think I'll even scrap him a card. Tarrance and Colby will be at Dodge City getting ready for regionals, Noah will be with his dad and Cora is going to babysit her first evening. I'm tell you my house will be so quiet.

Cora did get her foot x-rayed again, just waiting to hear what it the doctor says. I do know she can't move her toes or foot very much without pain. Poor girl!

My mother has been working on my cousin's baby book by herself. (oops) So I'll try to post some pictures of what she has done so far. Super cute! Wishing I had my own scrap room. Taking ideas on how I can make one in my basement. Still haven't gotten to that "Aimee time" hopefully soon.

What?!

Well it seems to me my life as gotten out of control again when it comes to "Aimee time" For some reason I just can't make it happen. So I'm starting fresh with the "Aimee time" It would help if I had my own room, but I don't see that happening right now.

Tonight Shannon is planning on taking me out for a date. (giggle)Yea me!

Also,I've been doing more praying lately about Shannon and I finding a church. We have dragged our feet long enough its time to find one.

Another weekend

Well this weekend went by so quick. We had a wrestling tournament up in Overland Park. Colby got second out of 22 teams. Which is very good.

Hopefully Tarrance will get to wrestle Thursday night at Maize.
Keri (the boys mom) got another letter from Blaike and he says he is sore but he is going to make it. For those of you that don't know Blaike went to military school alittle over a week ago. It was his choice. = P So, I'm very proud of him.
Levi had a wrestling tournament and got 5th place I'm not sure how many schools were there.
Cora went with us to Overland Park. We had so much fun riding up there and back. Shannon and her were being so goofy. After the tournament we went to the Cheesecake Factory!! I LOVE CHEESECAKE! I'd never been there. It was so wonderful! I got a picture but you can't see me in it. = (

We did get 4 pieces of cheesecake. They were so big!

We also went to Archivers. Which was ok. I don't know what I thought it would be like but I didn't find much that I couldn't live without. Shannon was even offering to buy me something. (darn it)
Sunday was Shannon's and my anniversary! We have been married 7 years now. I must say for just 7 years we have been through alot. We are closer now then ever before. So we went out to lunch, Chipotle my favorite place to eat and went to Starbucks another one of my favorite places. I must say it was a pretty darn good weekend.

Another Friday night

So, Colby is at wrestling up in KC and so far he hasn't lost. I'm telling you I'm so proud of that boy. = )
Blaike is at his military school and is loving it! He sent Keri a letter and said he's going to make it. I knew he wouldn't have any problems. We all wrote him a letter and he should get them tomorrow.
Cora went to her dance tonight.

She just had to put the blue in her hair. Next time Cora see's Grandmama she wants Grandmama to put a pink streak in her hair. LOL!

Tarrance is adjusting good to life up here. Shannon and him are on the couch watching tv. = ) Levi is at a wrestling tournament in OK and hasn't lost a match.
Noah of course is at his dads house. = ( I'm telling you... My kids are so funny. Last night Noah add the broom he was standing in the hall and had the broom peaking around the corner at Cora and I. Noah was singing, 'Baby come back' Cora and I were laughing so hard. I should of gotten the camera out and got some pictures. LOL! I have such a great family.
Also I see Dee started a blog! I'm so excited. Maybe I'll go scrap now cause Colby won another match and is seated 1st!!

Cora Jo

My beautiful baby girl starts her first baby sitting job tomorrow. : ( She is growing up way to quick. That first picture is from July 4th if you can believe that! Just looking at her pics its hard to believe she is only 13th. Thats ok she's got her brothers to run the boys off. (giggle) Of course there is a boy she likes and I can't help but tease her about him. His name is Collin. I think it has something to do with Twillight the movie. She is in love with Edward Cullen. lol!! She has 2 posters of him in her room. Cora says she isn't getting married until she is 30 years old though, and she is very serious about this. I hope she sticks with this plan. : )
